Description
In this virtual workshop sponsored by the Delaware Division of Public Health, practitioners, front-line workers, and healthcare leaders will explore multiple dimensions of culturally competent healthcare practices. Participants will learn to apply culturally competent principles using case studies of common, point-of-care scenarios applicable to community health centers and the communities they serve. The speaker will teach participants how to apply an equity lens to health center policies, procedures, and practices governing patient interactions and encounters. Participants will understand the importance of using culturally competent approaches in delivering high-quality care and reducing health outcomes disparities.
