Services and Technical Assistance
The mission of the Mid-Atlantic Association
of Community Health Centers (MACHC) membership is "to provide health
care services to the medically underserved and uninsured residents
of Maryland and Delaware." Members are accomplishing their mission
by delivering accessible, affordable, cost effective, and quality
primary and behavioral health care to needy individuals in rural and
urban communities.
MACHC's mission, in turn is
"to advance and sustain Bureau of Primary Health Care supported programs and other locally based safety net community health systems of care". Part of the way MACHC accomplishes this is through training and technical assistance. MACHCs staff has over 40 years of collective experience working with community health centers. From that experience we have crafted dedicated work groups such as our Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Network and our Board Governance to assist in the specific demands of these health center roles. We offer trainings and resources for key areas of health center operations including; Clinical Quality and Evaluation, Emergency Preparedness, and
Workforce Development. Finnally, MACHC has the ability to respond to the unique challenges and information requests for your community health center. If you have a specific question or topic request for technical assistance, let the staff at MACHC know!
